That’s why I recommend going straight up the Combat tree before switching to the Assassination tree, so you can pick up those key talents ASAP. As such, run dungeons frequently as a Rogue, at least once per dungeon when appropriately leveled are cowboy hard hats osha approved for it, and make sure to try to complete all dungeon-relevant quests to maximize experience gain. First, find a HIGH DAMAGE main hand weapon, and generally, the slower the weapon, the higher the damage (2.6 speed or higher if possible).
Keep in mind that solo levelling rogue is difficult mostly due to no good self-healing abilities. About the only thing that will help when slaying trash mobs will be the Remorseless Attacks Talent which will give you 20% Critical Strike with many abilities after killing anything that Rewards XP or Honor. Depending on how much the rogue’s abilities and buffs and the boss debuffs deviate from the given guidelines, the rogue’s DPS can slip quite a bit relative to what it “should” be.
Stealth allows Rogues to move undetected and engage unsuspecting Targets with deadly opening moves, which makes them very appealing for many Players. It also lets them sneak past packs of mobs and complete many, otherwise very difficult and time-consuming, Quests easily. In Open World PvP, Stealth puts Rogues at a very advantageous spot if they are the aggressor as it lets them dictate the rules of engagement.
I wanted to do one a long time ago but with our talent review, I decided to hold off. By then BC was right around the corner and it didn¡¯t make any sense to write one that would become completely obsolete in a couple of months. Great talent, replaces Sinister Strike and builds combo points very fast due to the low energy cost. I also pickpocket while leveling just to skill up my lockpicking. So if you want be true thief imp stealth and glyph of pickpocket will also help a lot.
While the default user interface may suffice, it is usually necessary to utilize external add-ons to provide the information you need to quickly make the correct decision during combat. In some cases, such as your health and energy totals, the default user interface displays information in an inconvenient location. In other cases, such as your current threat level, the information simply isn’t available through the default interface.
Combination points/finishing techniques can be difficult to master. Understanding which finish moves you should use and when is a challenge. Certain abilities require specific placement behind mobs, which is more difficult to handle in solo situations. Additionally some boss mechanics are very hard on any characters within melee range, and require stricter attention to positioning in the majority of cases.
For instance, Combat Swords is able to utilize a slower-speed main-hand sword with a faster off-hand blade. To utilize many of the key Rogue abilities, such as Backstab, a main-hand blade is required. The Shiv makes use of energy to attack with the opposite hand, but it requires more energy when the weapon’s speed is slower. Also, you need to pay attention to the specifications of your weapon and ensure that you’re gearing your game in line with your requirements.
Unfortunately, PvP servers aren’t much of a thing in Classic anymore. Most servers are imbalanced to the point that tailoring a leveling spec towards open world PvP is just not worth it. Alchemy allows you to craft your own potions, flasks, and elixirs which can all be invaluable for improving your leveling experience and speed. Professions can be hard to keep up while you level, but in Wrath of the Lich King, they give a lot of benefits. At level 50 all classes receive a quest taking them to the Sunken Temple.
