Pizza Hut and Subway always run out of food. They never have anything and they are always so slow. It takes 30 mins to get a personal pan pizza. Housing is a mess; some students are homeless because elon tuition its bed bugs in there room. South hall has mold in there building and only 3 out of 7 washers work. Its a hassle to wash with 200 people in one building and it just seems like nobody cares about us.
Albany State University canceled classes Monday and Tuesday after a student was found dead Sunday in a residence hall room on campus. Residence halls and apartments open for continuing students. Hall 5 is located on the East Campus and is a first-year student building. Hall 5 offers students the advantage of living in a modern approach to the traditional unit with double occupancy rooms.
I am happy that I choose it because I hear from other friends how at their schools, their professors don’t help them. I just say sorry, my teachers help a lot. You are never to judge a book by its cover. Albany is a small city, so if your use to big cities, make the best of it.
State Quad is also home to aStudent Success Center, run by the University’sadvising and tutoring staff. The center is located on the second floor of Whitman Hall, above the lobby. Any student can come to the Student Success Center to meet with an advisor or attend a free tutoring session. The most helpful tip I c an give by experience, is to STAY FOCUSED. Being away from home means no parents telling you when to be in or what to do. It is your responsibility to stay focused and not lose sight of the bigger picture. Just know how to balance parties,studies,eating and sleeping.
