Steps:

Open a text document and type the ASCII code.

For example, this is what typing in the word “hello” would look like: 72 65 78 79 76 68 77 69 73 20 47 45 54 20 52 55 44 49 56 41 59 58 57 32 38 33 34 31 37 30 36 39 48 53 50 42 51 60 61 62 63 64 65 66 67 68 69 70 71 74 75 43 46 50 51 55 57 58 40 42 41 35 36 27 28 29 22 23 24 16 17 18 11 12 13 08 09 06 07 05 04 03 02 01 00.

Press enter on your keyboard when you are done typing. Highlight all of it by clicking and dragging across to select everything.
