Have you ever looked at the human body and marveled at its complexity? Weighing in at about seven pounds, it is an amazing feat of engineering. Our bodies contain a complex system of organs that work together to keep us alive.
These systems are made up of bones, muscles, blood vessels, nerves, and other issues that all have a specific function. And yet they work together in harmony! You may be wondering how this could be. From verses 13-14 of Psalm 139 we learn what God says about our uniqueness: “You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” In these verses, God describes how he designed each one of us with care from the beginning of our lives. In the middle verse, God says that he made us “fearfully and wonderfully.”
These words are often used to describe a rare wonder or an object of beauty because it is so unique. This tells us that each one of us has something special about ourselves. In fact, we may not even know what it is!
There could be a talent waiting for you in your life but only if you pursue it. We can also find this idea throughout Scripture as people with disabilities appear alongside those without any at all: – Moses was temporarily prevented from entering Israel because his skin had become leprous (Leviticus 13).
