When I have time, I really like to cook at home- usually a family recipe with an ingredients list that I can tweak if I want. I like to make things a little healthier with the added benefit of being able to control the amount of calories and fat, but without losing my creative edge or losing my sense of humor. When I have time to cook, I make the recipe in the way I like, and then I enjoy the results.
One of my favorite recipes from 2016 that actually didn’t take too long to put together was a pulled pork sandwich. It took me about 10 minutes to make and was made with real pork, not canned. It was tasty and the ingredients were easy to find.
